Researching colour trends

is rather like a combination of gazing into the vastness of outer space, searching for a new constellation and participating in a newly discovered archaeological expedition. Clues to understanding the reasoning behind the palette can be incredibly elusive. After much exploration, it is felt that future colours will be inspired by fashion, moved by technology and driven by emotion. Cultural fusion will impact us on all levels

from fashion, food, music and inevitably... colour. We find inspiration from Latin influences, which will create the desire for coppery browns and shades of bronze. Exotic colours indicative of Asian themes have been energized through high fashion and film. European influences will be seen in curves and fluid clean lines of furnishings as well as our love affair with colours of the 'Old World'. The Mediterranean provides cool, watery blues with heat coming from Cuba in the form of creative energy and the freedom of spirit.
